Ed Garcia was a U.S. Patent Examiner (semiconductors) and earned three engineering degrees (BS in Electrical Engineering, BS in Chemical Engineering, and MS in Nuclear Engineering).<\/p>\n

This rare combination of Electrical and Chemical degrees was particularly useful for Panasonic semiconductors and Makita batteries.<\/p>\n

Before becoming a Patent Examiner, Ed Garcia researched at : Watlow Electric Lab, Idaho National Engineering Lab (INEL), and Kyoto University Nuclear Lab.<\/p>\n

After becoming a Registered U.S. Patent Attorney, Ed Garcia worked for several U.S. law firms, for a Japanese law firm, and then for Denso (in Nagoya, Japan). While working in Japan for 5 years, Ed Garcia published 25 educational videos on patent prosecution.<\/p>\n
